I found this link on sfgirlbybay's blog to this cute online store called happy tape selling Japanese masking tape. They look so freakin cute! I love that such simple things like masking tape can be made to look so pretty and funky and it saddens me that our masking tape is so bland and meh.

Modcloth
Oh my days I am so freakin excited by this one! I've just stumbled across this amazing online shop called Modcloth. They have some really pretty and unusual dresses which fit in perfectly with the "new Yvonne" look I'm working on (finances permitting). I've so far eyed these and will be having an internal debate over whether I should be buying them a little later tonight:

Christmas decorations
All the shops are starting to gear up for Christmas now, and it's closer than we think it is (43 days!!) and so I've been starting to notice all the lovely Christmas decorations that are around this year. I love Christmas, I think it is such a nice thing to have in the middle of grim British winters and I could easily spend a small fortune on all the beautiful festive things out there. Here are some favourites:
Christmas lights by Hannah Nunn, available at Not On the High Street

Rice
Not the food, though I do, but in this case it is the online shop. It brings together Danish and Thai design and style, a bit of a random choice maybe but boy does it work! There is a lot of stuff to see and add to mental wish lists and it spans over many categories from clothes, jewellery and lots of gorgeous stuff for the home so be warned!
The whole site is really bright and lovely and the side of me that loves bold colours can't get enough.
Some of my favourite picks:

Gorgeous tealight holders

Cute house toy storage boxes

Funky egg timers

Dudey food storage thingymajigs
Lovely no? Go check them out here!

Huset
Huset is a beautiful online shop which brings together a consortium of designers and focuses on Scandinavian design and style. They have some really lovely stuff and sell clothes, shoes, accessories and jewellery, things for the home and kitchen, and a really adorable section for kids.
I love the Scandinavian style, in particular their interiors. I think it's got a real clean and fresh feeling but also very homey and welcoming. There are some lovely things on Huset to help you on your way to a beautiful pseudo-Scandinavian life!
It took a long time to narrow down my favourites this time! There are so many, you really have to go check out the shop, there's so much to see and not enough room here I'm afraid!

Hau Hauz Bag

Rabens Saloner Japanese bracelets

Camilla Halvorsen Candlebranch

Pias Thilde rag

Paperchase
I love stationery. Always have and I imagine, always will. I remember when my dad would take me to Makro when I was little I used to always run straight towards the stationery and my dad would have to drag me away. These days my tastes have evolved from the old black and yellow pencils and neon Staedler rubbers and I find myself unable to resist the beauties that Paperchase has to offer.
I think their designs are so cool/cute/fun/lovely and there really is something for every one and all tastes.

ribbons!!
I really do, it's the crafty person in me, but I just adore them and want to fill my house with them! I once went to a lovely ribbon and paper shop in Sausalito and it was amazing - like the place was built just for me!
Last time I went to Hong Kong I happened across a ribbon shop and I had to do everything I could to keep myself from passing out. Shelves and shelves that looked like this:

I've never seen so many all in one place beckoning me with their colours and their hypnotic swaying in the wind. Forget Disneyland, I've just found the happiest place on earth! Now if only they had Ikea's meatballs and gravy...it's a close call.Anyway, I'm planning on a trip back to good ol' Honkers in the next few months so I look forward to browsing around many more of these:
